Directly across the road from SMSP is the Alpha Hotel at Eastern Creek, a proud Partner of Sydney Motorsport Park.

Whether we have our main Gate A open or all gates, there is always someone on the gate to assist you with directions. 

Our security staff are only too happy to help! Of course, access varies from event to event, especially at our big events with 20,000+ spectators. 

Be sure to read up before you set out for SMSP – check out all you need to know about your event by searching/finding it on the CALENDAR.

As SMSP is a race facility with volatile racing fuels and liquids on the premises, BBQs are only allowed when the event/event promoter has approved their use, and only in a designated area of the park that has been deemed safe. 

Check the spectator information of each event to see if you can bring a BBQ, but in most cases they are not allowed.

During most weekdays ie Monday through Thursday, the track is home to various ARDC Experience Partners and corporate clients including V8 Racing, Formula Ford & Drift experiences, Track and Ride Day operators; Driving & Riding Academies & Schools, Race Teams who want to test, manufacturers who want to test new cars (or launch/film commercials or photography) and so on. 

Unless it is a private, restricted activity, admission to the circuit is FREE to the public on these days to come and have a look at what happens at Australia’s best motorsport track.

SMSP is a spectator-friendly venue. Spectators are more than welcome to take photos and shoot video from the general admission areas of the track.

Drone approval will be supplied to professional working media or commercial filming crews only, and proof of commission/connection to an event promoter will need to be submitted along with the proper documentation (see below). 

Approval for the use of a drone for the acquisiton of personal footage will not be approved. ALL drones permitted to fly on SMSP grounds must be manned by a two-person team; a Drone Operator and either Camera Operator (preferred) or a ground spotter. Sub-2kg drones are not exempt from this policy.

2.5 We may ask you to voluntarily provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, experiences with us, and contact preferences. We and our affiliates use the information to design offers customised to your interests.

3.1 We collect, hold and use your personal information to provide our services to you, to recommend our services to you, to improve our offerings, to maintain and develop our business systems and to assist in responding to your feedback or enquiries.

5.2 Our Website uses Google Analytics, a website service that enables the tracking of user analytics including but not limited to browser information, operating system information, pages viewed while browsing the Website, Website session times and referring Website addresses, and enables us to help understand Website traffic and usage. 5.3 We may also use the Google Ads service to enable remarketing services, and Google UserID, demographic and interest reports. DISCLAIMER:EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

MOTOR SPORT IS DANGEROUSIn exchange for being able to attend or participate in the event, you agree:to release Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd (“CAMS”) and Australian Motor Sport Commission Ltd, promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees, organisers of the event, their respective servants, officials, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Associated Entities”) from all liability for your death, personal injury (including burns), psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property damage) (“harm”) howsoever arising from your participation in or attendance at the event, except to the extent prohibited by law;that CAMS and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; andto attend or participate in the event at your own risk.You acknowledge that:the risks associated with attending or participating in the event include the risk that you may suffer harm as a result of:motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles, persons or property;acts of violence and other harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent) committed by persons attending or participating in the event; andthe failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grand-stands, fences and guard rails) to ensure the safety of persons or property at the event.motor sport is dangerous and that accidents causing harm can and do happen and may happen to you. You accept the conditions of, and acknowledge the risks arising from, attending or participating in the event and being provided with the event services by CAMS and the Associated Entities.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Management reserves the right to inspect and / or search bags, motor vehicles and motorcycles brought into or out of the venue. This may require the persons assistance.Persons gaining unauthorised access to Sydney Motorsport Park will be evicted and may be liable for prosecution.Persons who use offensive or threatening language, cause a disturbance or refuse to comply with requests made by Sydney Motorsport Park staff will be evicted.Alcohol cannot be brought into or taken from Sydney Motorsport Park.Smoking on the premises is not permitted in any pit and paddock areas, seated, thoroughfare and concourse areas and buildings, balconies and pit roof.Children must be supervised by a responsible adult or guardian at all times.Persons who throw articles or gain unauthorised entry onto the circuit will be evicted and may be liable for prosecution.Persons consent to the recording of their image or likeness including audio and visual.Persons bringing personal items into Sydney Motorsport Park do so at their own risk and Sydney Motorsport Park will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of personal property.Any unauthorised commercial activity including ticket selling, soliciting, customer surveying, or attaching advertisements is not permitted.Any unauthorised capturing of images for commercial use or broadcast in any format is not permitted.Use of rope, bunting, poles, temporary fencing, tarpaulin, paint, or any other materials to create segregated or reserved viewing areas is strictly prohibited. Sydney Motorsport Park may remove all such materials at their discretion (including at the conclusion of racing on each day of the Event). Any property left unattended at the conclusion of each day will be deemed abandoned and forfeited to Sydney Motorsport Park.

REFUSAL OF ENTRY

For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all persons, management reserves the right to:Refuse entry to any persons deemed to be intoxicated and/or disorderly;Refuse entry to any unauthorised persons;Refuse entry to persons who attempt to bring any restricted or prohibited items into Sydney Motorsport Park.

RESTRICTED / PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not permissible in Sydney Motorsport Park:Glass or breakable containers;Alcoholic beverages;Illicit drugs;Flares, fireworks, laser pointers, knives, firearms, dangerous weapons or any device that has the potential to cause injury or public nuisance;Air horns;Gas BBQ’s, gas bottles or any naked flames;Spray cans or compressed air canisters;All animals except guiding or assistance animals;Skateboards and roller blades;Recording devices for commercial purposes;Platforms, structures or materials to be used to erect platforms or other viewing platforms;Commercial, political or offensive clothing, banners, logos or signage;Outlaw motorcycle or crime gang colours;Any items or goods for public sale.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Persons are permitted to bring the following items into Sydney Motorsport Park:Pre-packaged food such as sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, crisps, etc. for individual consumption;Unopened non-alcoholic beverages for individual consumption.Persons are not permitted to bring packaged or commercial branded food and beverage products to Sydney Motorsport Park.

NO SMOKING POLICY

For the comfort of all within Sydney Motorsport Park, a no-smoking policy is in place for all pit and paddock areas, seated, thoroughfare and concourse areas and buildings balconies and pit roof. Smoking is only permissible in designated smoking areas.

LIQUOR LICENCING

All persons entering Sydney Motorsport Park are advised that:They are entering licenced premises;Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter;Persons in possession of liquor will not be permitted to enter;Checking procedures will apply to prevent persons possessing liquor from entering;Intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises;It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor;It is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors;Persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police and penalties apply under the Liquor Act 2007.Persons under 25 years of age may need to show valid ID as proof of age for purchase and consumption of liquor.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

Sydney Motorsport Park supports the responsible service of alcohol.

FILMING

The filming of events at SMSP for personal use is allowed with the following restrictions:

1. Live streaming of events and people at SMSP to any platform including but not limited to web, social media and television broadcast without the written authorisation of the ARDC is strictly prohibited.
2. The filming of individuals at SMSP requires the authorisation of that individual before it can be used in any way. Please refer to our PRIVACY POLICY.
3. The posting to online platforms of events (and people pending Section 1.2) at SMSP for personal use is allowed post-event. For any commercial arrangements, see ardc.com.au/media.
4. Motorsport is dangerous, and accidents can and do occur. Any incident captured on camera within the venue will not be published on any medium out of respect for the privacy of others. Footage may be required by the relevant authorities.

CCTV

CCTV is in use at SMSP. Facial recognition, Number plate recognition and audio recording technology may be in use at this venue. Images and data shared with Police for crime prevention and safety purposes.

GENERAL RISK WARNING

Under CIVIL LIABILITIES ACT 2002; General Admission Crowds may cause Recreational Risks. Patrons must assess their own risk on entry.
